-Front and Rear Climate Controls - AC Blows cold, and everything works as it should

-Interior color is Grey, the Truck Vault in the back has tan carpet, but is easily changed
-Exterior color is White, with Tan body molding - factory chrome bumpers

I bought this Excursion in WA for the purpose of moving back to PA. Before the trip I had extensive work done to it along with upgraded parts along the way. The parts used were better than factory whenever possible, and the truck was setup for towing without ever breaking a sweat. The 4wd system works great, and is ready for anything PA winters can throw at it...

If you are looking for a V10 Excursion, this is the one you couldn't build one this nice for the asking price, and you would be hard pressed to find one this clean that has been through 17years of north-east winters... I had plans of making this into the ultimate "War Wagon", alas priorities change, and this could just as easily be the dependable "Family Wagon" for the next make the call...!

When I bought the truck (fall of 2016) it had just 106k miles on it. Now, after all the work done, the break-in period, and the subsequent move from WA-PA, the odometer shows ~115k miles on it, with more every week as I use it to commute from time to time... So you are looking at an upgraded 2000 Excursion with less than 10k miles on it, and comes with a factory Ford warranty on the engine...

Upgrades and new parts:

-New Ford Factory Re-Manufactured V10 Engine with warranty from Ford (along with all the extras that come with a reman engine directly from Ford)
*Engine had proper 500mile break-in period & service performed prior to trip
-New Alradco All Aluminum Radiator (massive aftermarket radiator - no plastic)
-New Water Pump, Radiator Hoses, and Thermostat
-New Throttle Body Spacer (common problem with factory spacer cracking)
-New OEM Alternator & New 4gauge (PowerWerx) Charge Wire Installed
-New Optima Red-Top Battery

-Rebuilt Original Transmission at time of engine swap (no weak links here)
-New 33-Row Transmission Cooler (much larger than original)
-New aFe Deep Transmission Pan (adds 3-4 quarts of fluid and temp sensor port)
-New Transmission Temperature Gauge (a must-have for towing peace of mind)

Drive Line:
-New 3-plate Torque Converter (same as the big diesels use)
-New U-Joints for front and rear drive shafts (both drive shafts balanced)
-Fresh fluid in both Front & Rear Differentials along with the Transfer Case

-New Banks TorqueTube Exhaust Manifold Kit (no more broken exhaust studs)
-New MagnaFlow Catalytic Converter (ready for performance muffler change)
-New Cat-Back Exhaust Components (factory exhaust levels - kept it quiet for the trip)
-New Bosch O2 Sensors

-New Rear Hellwig Adjustable Anti-Sway Bar (OEM only had a front bar)
-New Front Bilstein Shocks & Steering Stabilizer (rear Bilsteins installed by last owner)

-New Spyder Headlight Housings with H13 SilverStar Bulbs
-New Tail Light Housings with LED Lights and added additional Brake Socket
-New IPCW LED 3rd Brake Light Assembly
-New LUX Lighting Systems Rock Crawling Kit (installed above Nerf step bars)
-New LED Interior Lamp Replacements
-Added LED Running Lamps Under Door Panels (really bright)

-New Pioneer TS-A6886R 4-way Speakers Front and Rear (with BoomMat Baffles)
-Replaced Power Port with PowerWerx Dual USB 4.2amp Charge Ports (+switch)
-New 8gauge Red & Black wires run through firewall for any future power needs
*The factory CD/Tape radio along with the factory CD changer are included in the sale of this truck. The OEM setup has headphone jacks and controls for the rear seat passengers - this does not work with the aftermarket system installed.

-Added "Truck Vault" Secure Storage with Pull-Out Work Shelf (Excursion Specific)
*3rd Row Seating had to be removed for this installation, but is included in the sale of the truck, and can be re-installed at any time after removing the Truck Vault
-Added "Console Vault" Center Console Secure Storage (Excursion Specific)
*Can be removed at any time for reverting back to standard center console use

-New N-Fab 3" Nerf Bars with Steps (factory running boards were flimsy and slippery)
-Fresh Application of Under-Coating (got this done before it ever saw a PA winter)
-Door Weather Stripping mod done (provides better seal, and a quieter ride)
-New PIAA Silicone Wiper Blades (best that I have found)

If you are still reading, and still interested, you might as well hear the few nit-picking things to go along with all of these good things... As expected in a 17yr old vehicle, there are a few things that are worth noting...and in the interest of being completely honest with my listing, these are listed below...

The interior is in great shape with one exception, the driver's seat does have a couple small tears developing... I never considered them bad enough to get covers, or to have them re-upholstered...

The bumpers have a couple small indentations in them... I had plans of replacing them with a set of ARB bumpers so it was of little concern...

Lastly, the new owner should consider having some exterior paint work done. Ford vehicles of this time frame were sprayed with sub-par primer from the factory, and you can see the results on various areas of this truck. The worst part is in the water channels on the roof, and a few areas of the door jams... Also, a previous owner must have hit it with a pressure washer at some point as some paint chips have come off down the sides of the truck. These areas could simply be fixed by a body shop that performs spot repair for paint damage...

I must point out, there are NO rust problems at this time - the underside of the truck is as rust-free and as solid as they come... My intention was to remove the factory molding, and have the entire truck stripped and painted black to compliment the gray interior...but now that I am selling it, the color selection should be left up to the new owner...if they so choose...
