Job Description We are seeking an Interventional Pain Management Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to become a part of our wonderful team. Our patients are truly wonderful and want to get better. We have a multi-disciplinary treatment facility with on-site physical therapy. The right candidate will be developing their own practice, will have their own patients, and will have quality supervision (but not micro-managed) from a Cleveland Clinic Trained, Board Certified Anesthesiologist, and Board Certified Pain Management physician. You will be expected to perform interventional procedures and must be able to do so effectively, efficiently, safely, and independently. You will be expected to do all your own coding and have a working knowledge of ICD 10, E&M, and CPT. You will be expected to be facile with Electronic Medical Records and other business software. We use eClinicalWorks and Dragon Medical dictation. Pain Management experience is preferred. However, we will consider an outstanding candidate without experience with the right attitude, personality, and ability to quickly learn. Compensation is commensurate with experience, knowledge, skills and most importantly: effectiveness. Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic pain syndromes Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients Perform a wide variety of interventional procedures Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care Manage a balance between clinical and business priorities Qualifications: 2+ years previous experience preferred. We will consider the right NEW GRADUATE who is enthusiastic and a quick learner. Licensed in Florida Previous Pain Management experience preferred It is essential to be affable. The ability to build rapport with patients and staff is a must.
