Receptionist We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Receptionist to join our team. Must be a vibrant and dynamic personality with A LOT of energy and a sincere passion for working with seniors and provide peace of mind through quality care to seniors and their loved ones. The Receptionist position, under limited supervision, greets visitors at the community\'s front reception desk. Represents community to visitors and callers in a professional, pleasant, and courteous manner; ensures their questions and needs are directed to the appropriate person. Responsibilities:Greets all visitors entering facility in a courteous, warm, and professional manner. May provide drinks and other comfort amenities, as deemed appropriate, while waiting.Receives incoming phone calls and directs to proper residents and staff. Maintains and updates log of emergency phone numbers. Maintain contact information for residents and staff.Sorts and deliver to mail appropriately. Collect outgoing packages and mail; ensure their proper handling, charging, and collection by postal and shipping companies. Deliver newspapers, water plants, straighten office and lobby, and prepare refreshments.Calls for transportation as requested by residents. Maintain logs on resident check in lights and visual check in. Alert staff when residents may not appear as expected.Performs basic typing, filing, and clerical work as requested. Maintain community resident rosters and other community information as requested.May assist the Activity Director and/or others as necessary in promoting activities with residents in the lobby. Promote and encourage residents to participate in such activities. Requirements:Must have compassion for and desire to work with seniors.High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred; and minimum of one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public. Cheerfully and with enthusiasm.Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine correspondence.Caregiving background a plus!Must meet all health requirements, including TB.Must pass criminal background check.
