This starts off on a Cartoni C-40 Fluid Head, on what I believe is a T624 two-stage tripod with a spreader bar. (This head was commonly matched to this tripod)

It capable of supporting 100 pounds! And even with that kind of weight in it, the Cartoni C-40 fluid head is as smooth of an action, as anyone could ever desire! And it is adjustable.

This tripod and head was also commonly used as a studio tripod, to support a camera, monitor, teleprompter, and other equipment.

Next, attached to the tripod, is a customed designed plate, (that I personally designed), and had manufactured in a machine shop.

It is completely made out of a high grade aluminum, the plate itself measuring 1/4 inch thick, and all 'add-ons' are tapped and threaded, (and attached) with hardened Allen hex bolts. It had also been completely anodized.

Beneath this plate, is the top plate of the tripod. It quickly and easily drops onto the tripod hrad, and securely locks into place.

On top of the plate, custom blocks, (again attached with Allen hex bolts), each measured for individual camera / lens combinations.

This ensured that each camera / lens combination aligned 'vertically' with all the others. And the plate was designed so that each camera / lens combination aligned 'horizontally' with the others. So each viewfinder was just inches from the other.

And each block has a, 'Manfrotto 577 Rapid Connect Adapter with Sliding Mounting Plate (3433PL)', mounted to it. This allows lenses to be quickly, easily, and securely mounted onto the main plate.

Next, mounted onto the tripod adapter plate, that 'ULTIMATE' shooting platform!

Starting from left to right;

Nikon 800mm F/5.6 Lens, with a Nikon F4S camera with a High Speed Battery Pack MB-21, and a MF-23 Data Back.

Nikon 600mm F/4 AutoFocus Lens, with a Nikon F4S camera, with a High Speed Battery Pack MB-21, and a MF-23 Data Back.

Nikon 400mm F/ 3.5 Lens, with a Nikon F4S camera, with a High Speed Battery Pack MB-21, and a MF-23 Data Back. (Note: This lens is only '1/2 stop' slower than the F/2.8! And for an experienced photographer, it can be 'hand held'.)

Tokina 300mm F/2.8 Lens, with a Nikon F4S camera, with a High Speed Battery Pack MB-21, and a MF-23 Data Back.

Tokina 150-500mm F/5.6 Lens, with a Nikon F4S camera, with a High Speed Battery Pack MB-21, and a MF-23 Data Back.

What 'more' can anyone need, or desire! And oh, those particular 'Tokina lenses', are extremely sharp!

When they were first introduced onto the market, they were tested and compared to comperable Tamron and Sigma lenses, and 'exceeded' in all tests.

And note... This is 'not' a very portable platform! So don't even consider something like this for 'backpacking', (unless you're Superman, lol).

It was designed to be set up, 'and used' where it is set up. I do have a high quality, heavy duty, (I think a universal), 'Dolly' that the tripod legs can be secured to. This would allow this entire platform to be moved across a 'smooth' surface.

I had put all this together for 'my particular' photographic specialty. However I can think of 'numerous' other photographic specialties, where this would provide an 'Ultimate' photographic platform.

Once I had set all this up, (and before trying to use it), I picked out an object out in the distance, and adjusted each camera / lens combination, so that each were aimed at that same object.

That way when shooting my images, all I had to do was move my eye a few inches from one camera to another, and what I was shooting would be perfectly framed in all the other cameras.

Note; With Nikon's bayonet lens mounting system, all these lenses can be used on the newer Nikon digital cameras.

One 'must check' Nikon's compatability chart, (or do self testing), to determine full feature functionality between these lenses, and a particular Nikon digital camera. All would be different...

Note; This is being sold, 'as-is'! I will not break up, or 'break out', anything seen in the pictures.

Everything was in 'perfect' working condition when I packed everything away, and am 100% confident that everything is 'still' in perfect working condition!

I do have the original trunk cases for the Nikon 800mm Lens, and the 600mm Lens, and original cases for the 400mm, 300mm, and 150-500mm Lenses.

If anyone is interested, I do have '8' more Nikon F4S Cameras, all with the High Speed Battery Pack MB-21, though there may only be 1 or 2 more MF-23 Data Backs. I can't remember...

I also have quite a few, mix of smaller, Nikon and Tokina lenses. Also, a 'Polaroid Film Back' for the F4 camera, and some other accessories. If anyone is intetested, give me some time to make out a list.
