Coordinates and oversees the work of support staff\\\\. **Responsibilities** **Job Functions** 1\\\\. Receives, greets and directs visitors to appropriate person or office\\\\. 2\\\\. Answers telephones, providing assistance and directing customers to correct person or office\\\\. 3\\\\. Assists with the maintenance of department phone lists and mailing lists\\\\. 4\\\\. Assists with financial functions such as reconciling accounts, preparing expenditure statements, purchasing, inventory, and making deposits\\\\. 5\\\\. Collects, organizes and analyzes data for specialized reports\\\\. 6\\\\. Assists with the collection and preparation of operating reports\\\\. 7\\\\. Supports HR with new hire onboarding and access\\\\. 8\\\\. Assists with the implementation of department and University policies and procedures\\\\. 9\\\\. Assists with faculty recruiting and travel\\\\. 10\\\\. Maintaining and ordering office supplies\\\\. 11\\\\. Provides administrative support to upper level department management by scheduling appointments, meetings, conferences, and conference rooms, and by assisting with preparations and cleanup of such events\\\\. This position is responsible for solving staff, faculty and student problems or directing them to someone whom can\\\\. Plans and expedites the flow of work while ensuring the smooth operation of the office under the pressure of frequent interruptions and changes in priorities\\\\.
