Staff Accountant Accounting | Park City, Utah Description Job Description: As an industry leader we are looking for an exceptional Staff Accountant to join our Corporate based Accounting team. This position is responsible for providing current and accurate financial information for managers across the company. Other duties may include: * Compiles accounting data for the management reports * Adds journal entries into the General Ledger * Assists with monthly tasks: balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, reports, financial statements and month end close * Acts as back up for various functions in the Accounting Department * Completes various projects assisting the Financial Reporting Manager, Controller and Assistant Controller * Assists with yearly audits; quarterly reports and Great Plains analyses * Other duties as assigned The Staff Accountant position will help maintain an environment of high morale, motivation and teamwork. Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required * Minimum of 1-3 years of accounting experience * Ability to work in accounting software packages * Ability to manage multiple projects, willingness to learn new roles in accounting * Ability to organize and complete work in a timely manner Must be detail-oriented and highly organized * Ability to work independently and with other team members * Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization * Must show attention to detail * Must have capacity building mindset or willingness to learn and change with the organization * Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and rules of composition * Must have a working knowledge of computers and software systems including Microsoft Office products and the Internet; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required * Must be able to work for prolonged periods of sitting, typing and use of the phone and compute * Must successfully complete onboarding training/tutorials and attend future webcasts/trainings as required Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer - Supplemental Health Care is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
