Position: Industrial Piping Site Superintendent Primary Purpose: Responsible for day-to-day activities of crews on assigned projects. Provides guidance and direction to crews (of up to 20+ personnel) in meeting the budgets and schedule dates on each project. Ensures job quality and customer satisfaction is maintained in every stage of the project. Interacts with clients, customers and vendors to build lasting relationships. Reports To: Company Trade Manager Essential Duties: Plan and supervise job site and/or subcontractor and craft activities :determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities equipment, temporary power sources, scheduling, and monitoring Coordinate assigned work with work of different crafts, company departments, or other contractors Maintain liaison with engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule Assist in resolving construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc.) Monitor craft compliance with project safety program requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented Strong equipment setting capabilities Other duties as directed Minimum Experience and Qualifications: Required: Fifteen+ years' experience in a heavy industrial construction environment or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience Eight to ten years as a Superintendent in an industrial construction field Previous knowledge of man hour reports, job cost reports, workforce planning and estimating Advance understanding of construction scheduling, cost control and ability to control and supervise large groups Demonstrate knowledge of, reading & interpreting and working to: Design drawings (isometric and orthographic), design guides, specifications Support Drawings and specifications Contract documents and site coordination of subcontractors Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization Preferred: Proficient in MS Office Prior military a plus HS diploma or GED equivalent Benefits: Atlantic Constructors offers competitive pay and benefits, to include: Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401K Paid leave Click to Apply
