SALARY RANGE: Base:100,00 : 140,000 with large bonus plan

AREA SALES MANAGER AUTOMATION
* The ideal candidate has significant experience with factory automation and industrial control products, as well as component safety products and the relevant machine safety standards. A familiarity with the risk assessment process, as well as experience with machine safety products is desired. Certification in or training toward, completion of Certified Functional Safety Professional (CFSP) role is a plus.
There are multiple openings in this Global multibillion dollar Company.
Essential Functions:
Lead a disciplined sales process to grow OEM, distributor and integrator market share through leadership of regional sales and application engineering team.
Provide functional leadership of the Industrial Automation business in the region by leading a consultative sales process with key OEMs. Prioritize the education and management of regional sales team to develop critical competencies that focus sales activities in the OEM, distribution and integrator channels.
Assist OEM sales teams at Delta in assessing top market opportunities to drive successful sales strategies.
Provide expertise in key product areas.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or related discipline.
Five years experience with industrial controls and/or safety components in an industrial environment.
Two years experience working with regional customers across multiple industry segments to create strategic sales and business plans is a plus.
A Masters degree in business is a plus.
