Project Background
The Pueblo Chemical Agent:Destruction Pilot Plant (PCAPP) will safely destroy 2,611 tons of mustard agent in mortar rounds and artillery projectiles stored at the U.S. Army Pueblo Chemical Depot (PCD) approximately 25 miles from Pueblo, Colorado. Neutralization followed by biotreatment is the technology selected by the Department of Defense to destroy the Pueblo chemical weapons stockpile. The PCAPP plant began the operations and munition destruction phase as of September 2016.
Role Overview
The Pueblo Chemical Agent:Destruction Pilot Plant (PCAPP) is looking for a Process Data Acquisition and Recorder (PDAR) Administrator at the Pueblo, CO location. This position will report to the Automation Supervisor at the PCAPP project. Performs maintenance of process data historian system and related infrastructure. Develop data historian. Provides user support and leads troubleshooting efforts. This position coordinates control system operations and maintenance activities with Operations, other disciplines, and customers.
This is a long:term assignment with a 9:80s schedule. The work hours are from 6:30am : 4:00pm Monday : Thursday and 6:30am : 3:00pm every other Friday. At times, this position will require over:time hours and or shift work on a rotating shift schedule (DuPont Schedule: up to 12 hours on at a time, rotating day and night shifts).
Principle responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
: Maintain the project's process data historian system.
: Design, implement and test reports and applications based on user requirements.
: Install new servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project requirements.
: Provide support to users to help troubleshoot and resolve issues.
: Perform system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
: Develop and maintain installation, configuration, and operational procedures.
: Responsible for user account management, license management, patch management and testing.
: Contribute to and maintain system standards.
: Demonstrate leadership qualities with emphasis on continuous improvement and team building, and interpersonal communication skills.
: Prepares technical and procurement documents: reviews these documents for correctness and completeness.
: Attends meetings with other disciplines; technical discussions with suppliers, other disciplines, customers and external agencies.
Basic Qualifications:
: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS, MIS or related technical field of study and 6 years of relevant Engineering, Systems and/or related experience.
: Must be a United States citizen.
: Must be able to obtain and maintain any security clearances required for this position according to Army Regulation 50:6 (Chemical Surety). *
Minimum Qualifications:
: Experience working in an operating, manufacturing, chemical or nuclear facility.
: Windows Server administration experience using Active Directory.
: Network configurations experience.
: Experience working with database management systems (DBMS); i.e., Oracle, Microsoft Access, and SQL Server.
: Experience with developing, designing and managing databases using SQL Ser
