Job Purpose
* This role is responsible for driving the strategic consumer and shopper learning agenda for US Seasons and Gifting based on a deep understanding and analysis of consumers, shoppers, channels, competitors and local US market trends for Gifting, the four key Seasons (Val, Easter, Halloween and Xmas) as well as the growing micro seasonal periods (summer, BTS, other holidays) : by channel and by key customer
Key Accountabilities or Responsibilities
* This role is the Insights Growth Partner for the US Confectionery Seasonal and Gifting businesses and partners with US Seasonal Director, Local US Business Unit Leaders, Customer Marketing, R and D, Supply, S and F, US Shopper Insights as well as Global Seasonal and Gifting CMI and the Seasonal Global Brand Director.
* Conduct all US specific Seasonal research initiatives related to innovation (flavor, form), packaging, and communication as well as foundational shopper insights and retail research for priority retailers
Provide analytical expertise in US Seasonal and Gifting business drivers and key performance metrics,including Flywheel and Demand Spaces analyses
* Work actively with Global CMI to exchange knowledge and insights, ensuring the local US Seasonal and Gifting business is informed of global workstreams and scalable insights from other markets, and that the global business units are anchored in local insights
* Facilitate understanding and lead thinking around Mars Growth Philosophy to inform both annual and long:term planning for US Seasonal and Gifting business
* Ensure that US Seasonal and Gifting Consumer and Shopper Insights are deployed to Marketing, Sales, Catman, Shopper Marketing and translate into clear customer activation plans.
