So, you are thinking about buying a gaming computer, but not quite sure what specs you are seeking. If you already know what you are looking for, please skip this paragraph and move onto the specs of this particular PC. Let's talk about how gaming computers are different from 'normal' computers. The most important difference between the two is graphics card. Normal computers are equipped with on board graphics card. The motherboard carries vga /dvi/hdmi port to plug in your monitor/TV. Due to intensive nature of graphics in game out in the market, this onboard graphics does not allow the computer to play these games. Dedicated graphics card is what enables the PCs to play these games. Dedicated graphics card usually take up PCIE slot and it has its own memory for video processing. So then why not buy the dedicated graphics card and install it in the Normal PC? True gaming dedicated cards demand large amount of power. Most normal computers come with 350 Watts or less power supplies. The minimum recommended power for the gaming graphics card is 400 watts. I personally recommend 500+ Watts to ensure that there is no power shortage during gaming. Ok, so then why not replace the power supply and get gaming graphics card? Now we have to worry about the heat inside the PC. Most Normal PCs have a very small 80mm exhaust fan in the back for cooling and that's it. In addition the cases are usually smaller than gaming cases and they are no holes for air flow. In many cases, modifying the Normal computer results in over heating the components and you are likely to buy a new computer within few months of modification. By the time you get new case for the Normal computer, you have spent more than what you would have paid with one of my computers that I have built for you.

Hi. My name is Ed. I specialize in building affordable gaming computers for all gaming enthusiast. I have been teaching ASU students in health related science courses for last 10 years. I have a small office located on south east corner of University and Rural. I have been building gaming computers for over 10 years and successfully built well over 2000 computers during those years. I can offer amazing prices on the computers because I build them as a hobby. I am also a big time gamer so I build these computers as if I am building my own. Now let's talk about this particular computer.

This computer was built a week ago and I just finished stress testing to ensure proper function of the computer. The processor on this gaming PC is Intel Core i7 3.1GHz, a powerful quad core processor. This processor will not slow down your computer when you are doing multiple jobs on the computer since there are 8 cores available to support multitasking. To ensure smooth running of the gaming PC, 8GB of memory is installed. This is plenty to run multiple programs on the computer without experiencing the lag. The dedicated graphics card on this PC is Geforce GTX 660. This is a very powerful card with DUAL MONITOR ABILITY. This computer will play all the new games out in the market including, DayZ, Starcraft II, World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Battle field 3, and 4, Minecraft, Titan Fall any many more. To ensure continuous power delivered to this fast gaming PC, 575 watt power supply is installed. The computer is equipped with 1TB of hard drive SATA 7200rpm. This is plenty of space for your favorite music, photos, and movies stored in this PC. This gaming computer has DVD burner so you can store favorite music and photos into a cd/dvd. It burns 4.5gb in less than 6 minutes. The gaming case is made by DIY. It has 2 120mm LED fan on the front of the case and 120mm fan in the back for exhaust. In addition, there is LED 80mm fan installed on the side of this computer for additional cooling. Overall this gaming PC is very balanced and powerful, yet affordable.

This computer is equipped with wireless adapter for WIFI connection to your internet. Now you can place this computer anywhere in your house to receive internet signals.

This computer is plug and play ready. It has Windows 7 Ultimate installed and activated along with Office 2013 installed and activated. If you like windows 10, I can install Windows 10 on this PC for you with activation. The software alone would be over $250.
