Job Description The Construction Supervisor's primary role and responsibilities are to schedule and direct personnel to ensure that the client's expectations are met. The Supervisor will also at times use his/her hands-on still-set to help the crew team members complete construction projects. This individual ensure complete client satisfaction is achieved while while maintaining relationships to benefit both the client and Company. Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities with Client Understand client expectations on a per site basis Familiarity with each site's specification and working daily with production team to ensure work is being completed in a timely and satisfactory manner Ensure quality standards are met or exceeded - ie customer and company specified Perform regularly scheduled site assessments to identify quality or service issues and provide detailed site information to the client Resolve client concerns in professional and timely manner Personnel Responsibilities Manage all aspects of crew level relationship - ie train, coach, mentor, discipline and develop and review all crew level team members Plan, organize and manage work for crews, while developing and maintaining motivated and productive crews provide filed training to ensure all employees are able to effectively and efficiently manage all required duties and tasks Monitor and ensure team members are following safety regulations to minimize accidents to personnel and equipment Report any accidents according to established company procedures Operations Responsibilities Work with Operations Manager to schedule and manage crews, provide instruction and goals, while maintaining efficiencies and quality Participate in weekly operations meetings, supporting operations team and client relationships Manage all activities for installation services including the coordination of all materials, equipment and subcontractors Proactively coordinate with Purchasing Manager to ensure all materials and equipment are procured and delivered in time to meet schedule Enfore and manage all Company policies and procedures Skill-set, Experience and Education Spanish speaking a plus Proficient in take-offs (site measuring) Pricing, contracts and time management Minimum 5 years of customer service and management experience in landscape industry Minimum 5 years of working construction experience in building retaining walls, paver patios and walkways Company Description McFarlin Stanford is an dynamic team of executive recruiters and business coaches with international and domestic experience in C-Level Management from Fortune 100 to small entrepreneurial organizations.
