As one of the nation’s largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions, Facility Solutions Group is expanding their staff and seeking a Energy Conservation Representative to join the PSE&G Direct Install Program based out of our Perth Amboy, NJ location. The sales territory for this position will be in Northern Counties in New Jersey . This position will require travel in those territories, please do not apply to this position if you are not willing to travel to these areas regularly. JOB DESCRIPTION As an Energy Conservation Representativ e you will market, generate interest, acquire customer, and close sales for our Utility energy Efficiency Programs. The programs enable clients to reduce their energy spending and upgrade to more modern, energy efficient lighting and other equipment. An Energy Conservation Sales Representative will: Marketing the program Customer acquisition Generate cold leads and follow up on provided warm leads Be able to explain the benefits of the program to customers at an expert level Conduct on-site energy efficiency audits Prepare and present proposals and enroll customers in the program Maintain client communication and deliver superior customer service Be successful in enrolling customers in the program Secure necessary documents and information from customers Update and maintain all systems required, internal and external Act professionally and ethically at all times Report directly to the Program Manager JOB REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred Customer service experience preferred Valid driver’s license Ability to travel and canvass potential customer areas Ability to multitask while staying organized Strong verbal and written communications skills Positive customer service skills Proficiency with technology and electronics strongly preferred Self motivated and driven Experience in lighting and electrical a plus!
