SUMMARY

This position is primarily responsible for studio goal achievement with a focus on sales and artistry as well as providing client satisfaction, retail sales, and relationship building with clients, events/promotions as well as business development activities for goal achievement. This position is also responsible for maintaining the “Always Visit Ready” Studio Standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales

Communicates clearly and consistently retail and service goals and objectives to the team.Retail Goal Achievement through flawless execution of Sales and Event activities.Ability to understand retail performance to budget, and generate increased performanceExecute retail marketing activities, promotions and launches as directed and programmed by marketingTraining to Sell as directedOne on one developmentConduct train-it-forward initiatives

Operations

Manages studio operations policies and procedures.Ensures studio team provides exceptional customer service and a World-Class studio experience.Maintains a safe, secure & clean working environment.Studio janitorial responsibilities are shared within the team and include but are not limited to: disposing of trash, vacuuming floors, wet mopping, dusting, windexing glass surfaces, ensuring bathrooms, sinks and toilets are clean and sanitary and breakrooms are organized and free of debris and clutter.Ensures proper opening and closing procedures are executed.Is the first point of contact for difficult issues regarding client complaints and other matters and elevates to Senior Studio Lead/Executive lead if unable to resolve.Enforces merchandising standards inclusive of plannogram, visual and esthetic requirements.Maintains a studio environment that is consistent with the Sumita & Ziba Brand. This includes the appearance of the studio, cleanliness, staff appearance and merchandising.Implements new studio promotions & product launches including signage, merchandise, scripts and POP materials.Reports stock position as required, as well as manages and maintains supplies and Inventory. Inventory activities include generating PO’s and Receivers as well as taking and inputting into the POS system accurate monthly inventory counts.

Personnel:

Enforces compliance of Our Promise Beauty Artist & Brand Champion.Reports to Senior Studio Lead/Executive Lead any HR related issues at the Studio Level including actions for a CAF, RTO and employee issues that require elevated attention or action.This position is responsible for being able to distinguish between HR required issues, and day to day situations that should be resolved at studio level.

Supervisory responsibilities:

Directly supervises employees in the studio in the absence of a Senior Studio Lead/Executive lead. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization\\\'s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work;; addressing complaints and resolving day-to-day problems.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or general education degree; or one to three years related to beauty industry and/or retail sales environment.

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customer or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Computer Skills: Email, Order Processing Systems
