We have an immediate opening at our 55+ community in San Juan Capistrano for a part-time Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical functions with regard to the daily operations of the property.

Star Management is a mid-sized, specialty property management firm located in Santa Ana with expertise in the management and daily operation of manufactured home communities in California, Nevada, Utah and Idaho. We are committed to providing top-level service to our investors and clients, while at the same time providing a better place for our residents to live. Our portfolio consists of 40+ manufactured home communities, with over 4,900 spaces.


Process payments with check scanner and software Perform bookkeeping tasks Assist customers with Rental Applications Greet customers in a friendly and professional      manner Respond to telephone, in person or electronic inquiries Key in data, edit, proofread and finalize documents Open and route incoming mail Prepare outgoing mail Maintain property files by filing documents and creating new files Maintain electronic resident files by scanning leases and correspondence Fold and stuff mail to residents, such as rent statements, notices or general correspondence Run business errands, as needed

Job Requirements:

A minimum of one year general office experience Be familiar with standard business concepts, practices and procedures Property management administration experience preferred Must be computer literate in: MS Office, Adobe, Internet, etc. Ability to use discretion in situations that call for confidentiality Ability to work independently once assigned a task Be able to follow verbal and written instructions and assignments Be able to multi-task and manage multiple assignments Excellent interpersonal skills, have a positive attitude Reliable transportation to/from work Punctual and reliable with a good work ethic


High school diploma

Position: Part-time position, approximately 25 hours per week (9 am to 2 pm)

Pay range: $14 to $15 per hour.
