Job Description THE POSITION We are looking for a full-time Manufacturing Maintenance Technician with demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, upkeep, troubleshooting and repair of Plastic Injection Molding machines. In support of this primary objective, you will be responsible for maintaining related secondary/auxiliary equipment, critical facility-wide processing equipment (electrical systems, compressor, chiller, tower, etc.), installation of new equipment, crib stock and critical spares inventory management, as well as general building/facility maintenance. WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY · Small company atmosphere, big company results. · Stable position within an established company. · $18/hr to $24/hr – commensurate with experience. · Company sponsored Medical, Dental and Vision Plans. · 401K savings with excellent company opportunities. · Paid time off, paid overtime and company paid holidays REQUIREMENTS The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, upkeep, troubleshooting and repair of Injection Molding machines, related secondary/auxiliary equipment, and critical facility-wide processing equipment (electrical systems, compressor, chiller, tower, etc.), as well as installation of new equipment. In addition, responsible for general building/facility upkeep and management of crib stock and critical spare parts as it relates to these responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Oversee maintenance, improvement initiatives and monitoring of KECO's production equipment to ensure continuous operational performance, reduces machine downtime while maintaining production efficiencies. · Working with production manager to schedule routine or emergency maintenance repairs. · Installation of new machinery and/or equipment. · Management and performance of KECO’s preventative maintenance (PM) program. · Support, maintain and enhance workplace safety programs. · Assist in the development of facility-wide and operational improvement plans. · Manage and execute building improvement/maintenance work within associated code regulations. · Ensure that the interior and exterior of the facility represent KECO's best image. · Overseeing and working with outside vendors and service contractors. · All other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience: · Must have 3+ years of maintenance manufacturing experience; ideally in one of the following industries: Metal Fabrication, Plastics Injection Molding, Assembly, Electro-Mechanical assembly, hydraulics and pneumatics. · Experience with, and be skilled in, reading and interpreting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and PLC schematics/drawings. · Experienced and knowledgeable of both PLC and solid-state controls, industrial hydraulics (including pumps and valve controls), electrical controls and related electrical panel systems, heater controllers and thermocouples, industrial building infrastructure and power distribution. · Must maintain a valid driver’s license in good standing. · Ability to lift 50 lbs. consistently (with heavier weights at times as required). · Ability to communicate with, as well as direct outside service companies and subcontractors. · Ability to maintain good attendance, a flexible schedule, and work extended hours as necessary in an effort to maintain operations and facility equipment in a manner that maintains peak efficiency, while reducing downtime. · Knowledge of industrial electrical systems; including building, machine, and equipment circuits and controls preferred. · Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities. · Effective computer skills (ie ability to utilize a computer for work and communication – MSWord, Excel, Outlook, etc). · Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. · Must possess good organizational skills with the ability to set and follow work priorities. · Self-motivated, detail oriented and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where priorities often change. · Must work independently and take initiative. · Ability to work in various conditions and physical environments.
