All Cybersecurity Workforce positions require a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI). The incumbent is required to achieve, maintain, and provide documentation of professional cybersecurity certification as a condition of hire and continued employment. Certification must be issued from an authority meeting the credentialing standards of the DOD and DON. Required certifications must be maintained as an active credential. It is the responsibility of the incumbent to ensure certification status is accordance with DOD Directive 8570.01-M is maintained. Employees not meeting the certification requirement will be removed from the position.
