Job Description This position is responsible for providing a range of moderately complex clinical services assessments, treatment planning, individual, and family and group therapy, etc.) with children, adolescents, and adults. This is accomplished through the following: Administers and interprets moderate level psychometric assessment instruments. Completes Intake Evaluations and other diagnostic assessments as appropriate. Provide ongoing support services as identified and authorized in a client’s Individualized Service Plan and Treatment plan. Assists in the development of crisis, safety and behavioral management plans. Maintains case documentation in accordance with Alabama Mental Heath Standards, Medicaid Rehabilitative Services, DHR policy, SAFY and COA standards. Participates in clinical staffing conferences and helps coordinate treatment care plans to ensure continuity of care. Attends Individualized Service Plan and Treatment Plan meetings for clients. Prepare case notes within 24 hours of contact and monthly reports as required by referral sources. Tracks, records and reports on client outcome data as needed. Meet utilization standards set forth by State Director. Provide therapy services in the FOCUS program for those youth who have reunification as their permanency goal, up to 2 hours per week per family. Education Requirements: Master\'s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, sociology, or child & family studies, or other human service related field is required Licensure Requirements: LCSW, LGSW, ALC or LPC is required. Experience Requirements: Minimum of five years experience in family and children services is preferred Skill Set: Strong organizational skills to prioritize workload Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Demonstrated skill of writing treatment plans, case notes, etc. Operate a computer in regards to Microsoft Office and agency database system Company Description Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth (SAFY) of America is a national nonprofit organization providing an Integrated System of Care for families and their children.
