Job Description Job Summary A dynamic and expanding commercial building contractor in based in Lubbock Texas is looking for a Commercial Construction Project Manager. We are seeking a high-energy team member with construction experience in a fast-paced environment who will lead a multi-disciplined construction team with direct accountability for project delivery from initial planning to completion. Responsibilities and Duties Manage all facets of the project including planning, design coordination, construction, occupancy, and closeout to deliver the project on time, within budget and to all applicable quality standards. Demonstrate the ability to read, understand and apply complex documents including but not limited to: agreements/contracts, leases, proposals, technical specifications, surveys, architectural and shop drawings, and product data. Prepare scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate and budget, cash flow, work plan schedule and milestones including critical path analysis, quality control, and risk identification. Interface with customers, company staff, local entities including municipal/county/State agencies staffs. Track progress of each project component against goals, objectives, approved budgets and approved timelines. Create an action plan to resolve issues. Maintain customer satisfaction, quality, cost, safety and employee harmony. Utilize exceptional communication skills and personality to communicate with customers, motivates all team members, suppliers and subcontractors. Qualifications and Skills Minimum of Bachelor’s degree (preferred BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from a college or university in a technical area of study – and/or m inimum five to seven years of related commercial building- construction project management experience having worked directly for a commercial general contractor. Computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required. Exceptional written and verbal skills. Must be superbly organized and able to effectively operation multiple projects at one time. Must possess a basic understanding of accounting principles and budgets. Ability to work well under pressure and solve difficult problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations Company Description Exceptional service to both clients and employees is our purpose.
