Title Regional Vice President City Indianapolis State IN Employment Type Full Time On-Call No Weekend Hours No Travel Yes Description HERMAN & KITTLE PROPERTIES-Regional Vice President-Property Management Location: Indianapolis, IN POSITION SUMMARY: The Regional Vice President will report to the Vice President of Property Management and will set the strategy, goals and objectives for the assigned regions and properties ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: A cents € cents Lead Team of Regional/Area Managers to maximize CNOI A cents € cents Property Visits four days per week A cents € cents Assist VP in identifying/implementing strategic direction for department A cents € cents Provide leadership and support to staff which assures HKPA cents € (TM) s stated core values of Culture, Community and Commitment are in place and subscribed to throughout the assigned regional business units A cents € cents Effectively lead and work in a collaborative manner with different work groups throughout HKP, including, but not limited to Accounting, Development, Legal, Construction, Finance and Human Resources A cents € cents Conduct monthly KPI reviews (op reviews) with each Regional Manager A cents € cents Participate in monthly Portfolio Review with VP of Property Management and Director of Operations A cents € cents Participate in monthly and quarterly portfolio performance meetings with Executive Management A cents € cents Review and present operating budgets to VP of Property Management and Executive Management A cents € cents Hold accountable Property/Area/Regional Managers to follow Section 42 and Sec 8 rules and regulations A cents € cents Develop and recommend appropriate policies congruent with the strategic direction of HKP A cents € cents Remain current on local, state and federal issues related to the affordable housing industry and disseminate the information accordingly. A cents € cents Provide assistance/strategic direction with acquisitions/disposition of properties A cents € cents Other duties and strategic initiatives as assigned by Vice President for Property Management Requirements QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS A cents € cents Minimum of 10 to 15 years multifamily, multi-location property management experience. CPM preferred. A cents € cents Four year degree in Real Estate, Business Administration or other appropriate /related experience A cents € cents Demonstrated track record of successfully leading high visibility and/or performance challenged properties A cents € cents Adapts well to changing priorities and circumstances A cents € cents Working knowledge of local and federals laws including Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws A cents € cents Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence /coach A cents € cents Successful team leader and team builder A cents € cents Comprehensive knowledge of LIHTC housing programs and general understanding of other Federal/State housing programs. A cents € cents Language Skills A cents € \\\" Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to create proposals/presentations. Must be articulate and proficient at communicating to a wide variety of audiences A cents € cents Math Skills A cents € \\\" Solid quantitative, analytical and financial skills required A cents € cents Reasoning Skills A cents € \\\" Must be strategic thinker and able to think creatively and clearly in high stress scenarios involving owners, employees and residents. Advanced experience with MS Office Word; Efficient with MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Publisher, MS Outlook, Internet Explorer.
