**Description:** The Disaster Recovery Coordinator \\\\(DRC\\\\) will have a primary focus on supportingDisaster Recovery \\\\(DR\\\\) Exercises during planning, execution and post exercisecloseout activities\\\\. Theseresponsibilities include; identifying and validating all in scope recoveryrequirements, leading / co\\\\-leading core team calls, completing all requireddocumentation, meeting facilitation, technical issue and resource management, plansfor remediation, exercise metrics, reporting and trending\\\\. + Co establish and maintain detailed DR communications and command and control plans through a change management process\\\\. + Work with the IT technical staff to ensure that disaster recovery solutions are adequate, in place, maintained, and tested as part of the regular operational life cycle\\\\. + Develop and understand all testing necessary for a successful DR execution\\\\. Additionally,this role may be required to contribute to and or lead in the facilitation oftechnical DR activities across IT including: requirements gathering and validationfor the development of technical Disaster Recovery Plans, data entry andmaintenance of the plans in the DR Planning System, identification and closureof DR exposures\\\\. Asa member of the Disaster Recovery Team and Business Continuity Program, thisrole provides critical input into the streamlining of processes and proceduresfor the delivery and governance of disaster recovery services and providesrecommendations for improvements\\\\. Closecollaboration with key stakeholders across the application and infrastructureareas is essential to enabling attainment of Cigna's goal of Cigna BusinessResiliency and to help ensure recovery objectives are accomplished in a costeffective and efficient manner\\\\. **Qualifications:** **Experience** + A bachelor's degree in computer science,information systems, information protection \\\\(information security\\\\), or arelated IT field is required\\\\. DR Certification \\\\(CBCP or CFCP\\\\) is preferred; aPMP certification is desired\\\\. + Experience within Infrastructure and DataCenter Operations, and with multiple technology platforms and services \\\\(desktop,distributed, mainframe\\\\) + Delivering results on technology focused initiatives + Understanding of the Application Software DevelopmentLifecycle \\\\(SDLC\\\\) + Experience participating in Disaster Recoveryactivities a plus + Broad base knowledge of Business Continuity + Working with flexibility within a fast\\\\-pacedenvironment\\\\.
