This pipeline of talent has brought life:changing innovation to your fingertips for more than 160 years.Scope of Position::The role is a key enabler of technical projects that will support ongoing testing of competitive materials related to Corning(R) Gorilla Glass business.:Design and implement technical plans in order to achieve accurate and detailed results.:Work with our Intellectual Property team to carry out specific patent related testing and analysis.:The role will work closely with a wide internal customer base with responsibility for implementing potential changes to current process if needed.Day to Day Responsibilities::Creates and builds technical plans with clear objectives of testing results.:Develops new methods and tests upon market need.:Work with many other groups and organizations to obtain testing results and make clear conclusions.:Manage and maintain our competitive landscapes for applications ranging from legal to commercial.Travel Requirements::Travel limited to Corning Valley:May require travel to some specific conferencesHours of work/work schedule/flex:time: Mon : Fri / Core Hours / 40 hours weekRequired Education andExperience: BS or MS degree in materials science, chemistry, physics, analytical measurements or engineering fieldsRequired Skills::Experience working in laboratory environment.:Ability to read, understand and interpret technical documents.:Communication and influencing skills in individual and group settings:Organization/Documentation skills criticalDesired Skills::Results oriented, self:starter:Exposure to patent literature and related technical domain:Exposure to data management tools:Ability to lead and work effectively on project teams:Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities:Effective multitasking skillsSoft Skills (Communication/Team/Leadership)::Ability to work in a diverse environment:Technically curiousWe prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, gender, age, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status or any other legally protected status.Source:
