The Supply Chain Transformation Lead is responsible for defining the direction, tools and methodologies and incroprating external best practices into our lean transformation. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Transformation, this position coaches and mentors transformation and supply chain leaders in eight strategic business units (SBU). The Supply Chain Transformation Lead will be responsible for, in conjunction with SBU Transformation Managers, setting priorities and roadmap for supply chain improvements and enabling execution within each SBU. Additionally, the Supply Chain Transformation Lead will coordinate and faciliate forums for incorporating external best practices into existing playbooks and sharing internal best practices.
Work with SBU Transformation Managers and leadership teams to understand current state and future state, then build and execute aggressive improvement plans in each of eight targeted businesses
Incorporate best practices in sourcing, inventory management and customer fulfillment practices into transformation playbooks; translate principles into tangible kaizen opportunities for each SBU
Serves as a valued mentor and coach business unit leadership teams; develops a relationship of trust, confidence, credibility, and commitment to the transformation process
Coach supply chain leaders on effective use of metrics and visual management to drive targeted daily activities and improvements
Coaches people leaders at various levels on skills required to lead in a participative, team:oriented culture; models these interpersonal skills in meetings and other interactions
Perform periodic Transformation Assessments at plant/value stream and business unit level to monitor progress and develop improvement plans in leveraging business systems toward sustained transformational improvements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities::/h3:
10+ years of operations, supply chain, or integrated planning experience across multiple industries; ability principles in new industries
5+ years of experience as a lean practitioner
Proven ability to inspire and influence stakeholders without authority
Strong communications and change management skills; must be able to quickly establish credibility and influence shop floor and functional business leaders
Ability and disposition to respectfully challenge status quo
Intellectually curious
Proven track record of building effective teams
