State Highway 58 is a heavily used corridor connecting Bakersfield, Tehachapi, Mojave, and Barstow. It is the main route used by Central Valley and NorCal traffic heading to/coming from Las Vegas and Arizona/points east, which is a very significant traffic volume. CalTrans is in the process of a $30,000,000 project to rebuild Highway 58 through the Kramer Junction area, which will expand the highway from a two lane surface highway to a four lane controlled access highway with on and off ramps (construction planned for 2019). Interstate 395 is a major connector highway running from Adelanto in the south, north through Kramer Juction to Ridgecrest, Mammoth, Reno, Oregon, and Washington, all the way to the Canadian border. This property lies about 0.5 miles from the junction of these two very important roadways, and has excellent potential as traffic and development increases in Kramer Junction/Boron over time. Very few available parcels in this area primed for growth.

Directions: Once the new Highway 58 lanes are built, this parcel will front directly on the Highway 58, just 500 feet west of the westbound on-ramp from Interstate 395. In the meantime until the new lanes are complete, directions are as follows. From the "Four Corners" intersection of Highway 58 and Interstate 395, head north on Interstate 395 for 0.4 miles to the end of retail developments (just beyond the pottery/antiques property), then turn left on the dirt road heading west.
