The Enterprise Information Quality and Governance office is responsible for the disciplined execution of governance programs and practices across all master data enabling information as an asset for Dell. This role will lead the quality and governance processes focusing on process improvement opportunities, governance meetings, issue resolution, integration across multiple processes and applications ensuring the highest level of data quality, integrity, privacy, availability, analytics insight, security and usability for all stakeholders. Role Responsibilities Develops and executes data quality strategies in line with the organization`s business strategy and goals for product/parts Act as the SME/expert and single point of contact for including marketing, sales, services, finance and survey master data integrity ensuring end-end quality of data across the business process and applications. Support the creation, collection and maintenance of key business data definitions (CDE); standards; rules; lineage; data lifecycle; security; privacy; and data flow diagrams in the Collibra Data Governance Center Lead the E2E Contact council and prepare for the executive steering committee managing cross LoB issue resolution, policy management, data quality rules and supporting the developing of processes to support both the enterprise model as well as business specific requirements Manage the data governance issues list and remediation/actions plans Manage data governance presentations, metrics, dashboards and overall progress communications Drive data quality metrics. Support the resolution of information and processing challenges that are having an adverse impact on the operations, analytics or business performance. Identify opportunities for improvement and incorporate it in the data strategy. Support enterprise data-decision making processes and facilitate discussion to address conflicting viewpoints with the goal of arriving at mutually satisfactory agreements Support project initiative s which impact install base, review business requirements, ensure integration and sign-off documents ensuring data quality and integration. Collaborate closely with stakeholders and Governance Office data quality, process and program teams to ensure continuous improvement and quantify the costs of poor data quality, perform root cause analysis. Responsible for standardizing data naming, establishing consistent data definitions, monitoring/auditing the data quality, and executing cleansing and policy agreements. Create and maintain data lifecycle process maps, architecture diagrams and recommend improvements where appropriate. Coordinate maintenance of the enterprise data dictionary. Collect business requirements and develop functional specifications for new process requests Performs change management impact assessment Requirements: Bachelor's degree; preferably in a quantitative field 8 years in data management competencies, data migration or data creation Ability to analyze, document, and present business processes as they pertain to data quality issues. Verbal and written communications and interpersonal interaction skills. Contact transactional solutions experience with Oracle 11i, SAP ECC, SFDC Contact data solutions and providers such as MDM, Data Quality, Address Doctor, Email Validation, D&B, Phone, NetProspect solutions and vendors Enterprise Architecture experience and understanding of impact of strategy, process capability and governance on business performance.
