POSITION PURPOSE:The Westin Atlanta Perimeter North is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Night Front Desk Supervisor to join our team!The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager in ensuring exceptional customer service is being provided by the Front Office team, while meeting profitability and quality standards. The Front Desk Supervisor is also responsible for supervising Front Desk associates and assisting with greeting guests, checking guest in to and out of the hotel, handling guest requests and complaints, and leading group check-ins.Duties- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival. Properly register guests into the computer- Promote the Starwood Preferred Guest Program and provide recognition and benefits to all present members.- Accept payment for guests accounts. Responsibly maintain a house bank and accurate report of daily receipts.- Supervise front desk agents, ensuring the correct sequence of events for proper registration and checkout of guests. Assign specific tasks to front desk agents relative to credit, guests addresses, registration bucket maintenance, registration cards, posting charges, and overall cleanliness and organization of the front desk.- Provide training and support to front desk agents.- Be empowered to effectively resolve guest situations and properly execute service recovery- Follow up on any unresolved situations in a timely manner and pass on appropriate information to other managers for handling- Any and all other duties as required.Position Requirements1. Excellent customer service skills are required2. Must be able to work 1st and 2nd shifts3. Previous front office experience required.4. Must be able to effectively communicate in English.5. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.6. Ability to respond quickly and accurately to guest requests.7. Ability to multitask.8. Must possess basic computer skills9. Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certification.10. All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per company standards.11. Position requires walking and giving direction most of the working day. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.12. Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the hotel on a timely basis.13. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally.14. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.15. Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and subordinates.16. Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.17. Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment
