This started life as an early 50's Sears Silvertone with an art-deco black and white paint job.
Whatever it is now is up to your imagination.
I imagine it being out of my home.

There are some repaired lateral cracks down the neck. The heel joint is firm, and has never needed repairing.
A corner was cut off of the headstock because I thought it would "look cool" in 1988 if installed a tuner on the end of the headstock.
The frets were removed at one point to make it an Adrian-Belew style "fretless" guitar (?). I filled them with wood filler at that time.
I removed the end of the fretboard when I "refinished it" in the 80's
The braces have been cut to install stereo humbuckers (yes, it was wired in stereo, and worked). THis will need repairing. Serious repairing.

If you try to string this up as it sits, you *will* destroy the top. If you think there's any wiggle room time left to try this, remember that I probably used up that wiggle room years ago!

I have what's left of what I think is the original bridge saddle, but it isn't worth taking pictures of. Assume the worst.

Look, you couldn't give these guitars away in the late 80's. I was just having fun with what I thought was a piece of junk at the time, not realizing I was actually butchering a cool thing. Mistakes were made; that's what growing up is all about.
I called this "firewood" for a reason. This thing will never be a "Silvertone" again. It is more project than anyone with common sense should take on unless they *really* want a HUGE PROJECT.
